Could anyone advise me on this fridge problem p;ease (im in Andover Hants)

I have just bought a second hand bench top “Heineken Fridge” 900mm half height fridge, made by AHT Austria Haustecknic . the compresser is made by TE Turk Elektrik.

    Symptoms are,

5 inch fan 240v 50hz on cooler rad i have tested and is not working. where could i buy a replacement, its in a square black case similar to a computer fan etc

When switched on the chiller plate at the rear of fridge begins to ice up (Lightly) halfway up from the bottom, and down the side where gas comes in etc. (Temp drops to 4c above)

The black dome (Ball) compressor after around 20 mins heats up excessively hot to touch, then it switches of, and the chiller plate inside defrosts immediately. is this because the fan on rad is not working??..

The fridge new would have been £250/350 i bought for 25 hoping i could fix it, as i am a Heineken fan!! the fridge is a 2 shelf jobby………

i have picture but could not upload using the insert image link above my private messeage boarld etc??….but could send to whoever can help……..

best regaurds heinekennige hope someone can help…….shame to bin an icon fridge, which is difficult to find in uk…..

Could anyone diagnose the fault ??…….my contact number is 07949739557 or email nigelsmith@gmail.com

Re: HENEKEN HALF HEIGHT BENCH TOP FRIDGE PROBLEM

i put a cold air blower (Strong hair dryer blowing cold air through rad for black dome, and the temp gauge i have inside is not now dropping to 4celcius ???……..the pipe coming from black dome is routed through the drip tray to assist cooling, i filled this with cold water to to hepl cooling. it is now cooling chiller plate inside from the top down and not from the bottom up as before??…but black dome (compressor) is stating much cooler though.

but emp in fridge is not going down now??? is it posible to loose gas if it overheated or is there generally a safty cut thermal wise for compressor (Black dome on top of fridge??>.

Re: HENEKEN HALF HEIGHT BENCH TOP FRIDGE PROBLEM

    Hi

If cooling plate is icing over then defrosting when cabinet reaches 4 degrees and thermostat shuts the compressor off,it is working correctly.
The tray on top of compressor is there to evaporate the defrost water from the cooling plate.
Try a new fan to cool compressor , they do run to hot to touch at normal operating temps.

Re: HENEKEN HALF HEIGHT BENCH TOP FRIDGE PROBLEM

the cooling plate is only partially frosting over, more like just misting up, no ice crystals are forming on plate. it “Mists” up on the left hand side where feed comes in and a couple of loops on the bottom of cooler plate inside cab ok……
