    Hi,

My trusty old Henry seems to be giving up on me.
It just doesn’t vacuum very well at all- the suctions seems very weak.
Is there anything I can do to remedy this or is it time for the scrap heap? It is about ten years old so can’t say its not had a long, productive life!
I have changed the bag, not sure what else I can be trying.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

remove hose and see what the suction is like on the cleaner only

If the big filter is clogged that would cause loss of suction. Like Dave says run it without hose and the filter as well. If all okay probably a blocked hose.

Thanks for the responses. I would like to try it without the hose and filter- i’m just not sure where the filter is! Is it the flat round thingy that goes on top of the bag?
    Sorry for my cluelessness.
