hi my zanussi jet system 5 hrs to wash

help can anyone suggest why my zanussi jetsystem 1400 take 5 hours to do a 2hours 10 minutes. i have cleaned the filter and it is plumbed in on normal piework not one of those that cut there own hole in the pipework.please add any suggestion that may help.i do not get any fault codes just takes the 5 hours.

1. Check by looking in soap drawer that water is coming in quickly enough to fill to level a)on main wash b)on rinses.
2. Is water heating during main wash?
3.Can’t think of any others at this time of night…what am I doing here anyway?
4. Try posting up model no. & E nr. in morning to get better qualified opinions.

is drain hose too low? machine could be “syphoning”. make sure that the end off the drain hose is not stuffed down the standpipe, ( see instruction book installation guide) this will cause the machine to take a long time to reach level required also will have to keep topping up.

tangoman, check the mains water pressure as that’s the most common cause I’ve seen of such things.
