    Hi all.

Having previously found some really useful info on this forum, I’ve now got an error code showing on our DC27 and can’t find the solution on here – so I’m after your advice please!

Having run a complete cycle on the machine, I went to offload it only to find that it was still full of water in the bottom. Also had an error code showing – both the prewash and wash led’s were flashing (leds 1 & 2).

I manually drained the machine (tipped it up) then tried it on a cold rinse cycle – it filled but would not drain.

I’m guessing that the drain pump is u/s… ?

Question is, would this be something that is fairly cheap/easy to repair or should I look at replacing the washer (coming up to 4 yrs old)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

Drain pump blocked most likely, Matt. The filters aren’t the best fit ever.

You can access the drain pump from under the machine, screwdriver job really.

    Power off, of course.

    What can I say??!!!

Thank you for the swift response. Pulled the pump and found a small piece of grit (how!!?) jamming the impeller. All sorted now.

Thanks very very much – you’ve just saved me forking out for a new dishwasher!! (Wife very relieved – brownie points all round! 😉 )
