Ok washing machine whisperers out there…….risked putting a wash on after it had leaked when NOT on…..3 days after the last use.
It leaked again…so pulled machine out to find the leak.
Felt EVERYWHERE & found nowt! Not joins, pipes, taps, nothing. All totally bone dry.
Lifted it up at an angle and felt round the parts I could reach…..back of the filter, round the drum etc….nothing.
I couldn’t feel round left hand side cos it was toohard to hold machine up at same time.
No leak from anywhere at the front.
NB. just checked water on floor……defo looks to have leaked out of the right hand side but nothing low down underneath is wet.
So, any ideas, please?!dont forget it could be external to the machine
why not try running the machine with it pulled out. that way if its the machine it will be under or right next to it
DaveCheers Dave! We checked all pipes etc around it & nothing was wet.
someone suggested it could be the pump seal. Unsure where that’s located so trying to search online for pics!
think we’ll try another wash tomorrow, keep it pulled out a bit….space v tight so can’t pull it out totally cos can’t then open door! We’ll put paper underneath & keep checking. Someone also suggested putting paper towel around possible leaky bits so may try that but don’t think we can access anything higher up….just can’t reach.
