Has three sticky labels on various bits at back. One on compressor has the following, ZEM 5 and GLY 90 AA 00 37 and R134a N. A 3in by 3in white label has F944 3 and 143009153506 a barcode and 037SI03506 and another label has 98159F440 AFF7001, Frigo Congelatore, a barcode and Q00100100042.
It’s about 7ft tall, 3ftwide (no model name or number as far as I can see) and tripped the whotsits on the consumer unit a couple of weeks ago. On inspection, found inside of bulb blown to smithereens, bought two new ones, neither of which worked. It started to defrost the freezer a few days ago, fridge also warmed up, replaced plug fuse which had blown on this occassion and it hummed back to life but didn’t cool. About twenty minutes ago, I switched it back on after 48 hours of it being idle. I could hear it start up as it has for years and as the doors were open, I could hear a sound like water rushing through pipes for a couple of seconds. After the time the thought that I should clean it out as it’s recent performance could have been an abberration had passed through my mind, I switched off at the socket, waited another couple of seconds and switched it back on. This resulted in no sound but a quiet hum, not the normal sound of it running. What next? I’d be really grateful if someone can tell me how to fix it please.
