Hi. My slimline dishwasher refuses to work! The light comes on when the start button is pushed – so I’m going to assume that it’s not an electrical fault – however nothing happens when the dial is turned to the wash settings. Please can someone advise.
    Many thanks

Microswitch in door lock burnt out is a good bet.

    Power off, if investigating.

That sounds great – thank you. Can I order a microswitch easily if that is the case, and in terms of investigating, after turning the power off, should I unscrew the door and then I’ll be able to see the door lock?

spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk can find parts for just about anything……

You are on the right lines about splitting the door – power off first and be very careful of the door edges – you can shave with them.

That’s excellent, and I promise to be careful 😆 Will be in touch with an update – thank you
