Hinari Lifestyle HDW40 will not fill up!!

HI

I have just bought a Hinari Lifestyle HDW40 as a stopgap replacement until our kitchen is renewed next year. Unfortunately, it doesnt want to work!!

I connected the waste, power and water feed and tried the machine but it doesnt want to take in any water.

I have checked that there is water pressure at the machine end of the hose and that the small filter in the inlet into the machine is clear, both of which were fine.

I also checked to see if the machine was working by putting some water into the machine, closing the door and setting to a wash cycle, and it all seems to work fine, including draining.

I am guessing that it is an issue with the inlet valve, but can anyone out there in cyber land comfirm this?
