Good afternoon all,

Visited a customer’s earlier to assess an obscure fault with the above oven.

Occasionally, should the door be opened when cooking on a fan oven heating cycle, to check, or rotate/stir the food, the oven will then switch itself off when the door is closed. (I understand that the clock/timer remains on, but no other part of the display. i.e. fan/heating symbol, or temp’ digits.)

To resolve the above, the main oven switch has to be switched off, and back on, and previous cooking settings are naturally lost.

The fault did not occur when I monitored the operation, and I wonder whether to suspect the electronic control module/board, or should I be testing something else?

    Thanks for any assistance…

Do you know what temperature was being used as there’s a bulletin when used at higher temps it’s a problem that says this:

Technical information applies to ovens with capillary thermostat.

In case the oven interrupts the pizza or any other program when the temperature reaches 300°C, the protective thermostat must be replaced. You must order 882766.

New protective thermostat allows higher max. temperature +5°C.
