Hisense FV306N4BC1 Freezer Temperature

Hi Need some help on this freezer as it is not getting to the required temperature even on the lowest setting i am only getting minus 8 on the digital thermometer that i have put in
the fan is working any help would be appreciated

on this freezer it seems you can set the frezer temp from -14 to -24

when you say you set it to the lowest setting do you mean

a the lowest setting -14

b the lowest temp setting -24

Hi Dave at the moment the freezer is set on the highest setting but the digital thermometer i have put in one of the drawers is reading minus 13

is the compressor running all the time ?

The compressor does run for a long time but it does turn off if i set the temp to minus 18 which is supposed to be the ideal setting any ice cream in the freezer doesnt freeze properly

in that case it sounds like a sensor problem

if it was a compressor or a gas problem the comp would run all the time as it would never reach temp. in your case it turns off which means as far as the control is concerned it has got there
has your freezer got a fan and if yes is it runing.. if your unit self defrosts they add a fan to blow the cold air around

hi Dave yes fan is running i did change a temperature sensor but it made no difference i have took the cover of the back and everything looks ok

well if the sensors are new and the fan work plus the compressor stop and starts the only thing left is the boards

cant be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain as you realise and i have no tech access on this chinese make
