ParticipantWe have a Hisense Hi8 BIM4AH8UKWF integrated 50ltr microwave and oven bought last December. A great full feature oven, but the one thing we have found and have issue with is the heavy condensation within the oven compartment after any microwave or convection cooking.
This oven simply sweats! It doesn’t have to be cooking for any length of time before all walls are saturated. We’re not boiling water in it, it can be either baking or microwaving and we have to wipe down top, bottom and sides of heavy condensation. If left overnight, the indide is still very wet and a pool of water will sit on the base.
It’s almost like any ventilation is blocked.
All packaging etc was removed prior to installation.
Curios to know if anyone has this particular model and experiences the same?
I will also be contacting Hisense for help.
Thanks all.August 23, 2025 at 7:51 am #493497kwatt
KeymasterHave you tried running it empty for a while?
Normally, you’d think that’d be what was in the oven or environmental, as the oven can’t produce moisture.

Moderatorits more likely while using the microwave as microwave cooking is a wet heat
cant see why its happening inside the oven while using normal oven functions. the walls of the oven would be above the boiling point of water so it cant happen
can understand if its inside the glass doorDave

Participantkwatt, electrofix, thanks for the replies. We have 2 microwaves (a stand alone Sharp and integrated Hisense) and the new Hisense replaced an older Bosch integrated. The Sharp just doesn’t sweat or at least has minimal condensation after microwaving, and the old Bosch integrated could get a bit heavy on the condensation but only if a hot dish was left inside standing, but no way as much as the Hisense does which will happen just after a few minutes of microwaving.
It maybe a a sign of good insulation compared to the other two, but I can’t see how this cannot have an adverse effect on the internal structure/wiring.
As mentioned, I have contacted Hisense and am waiting for their response. It’s still under warranty, so if it is an issue, I should be covered. 🙂 -
