HJA 8630 heater staying on when empty?

Beko dishwasher customer came down in morning to find dishwasher hot. Diagnosed welded relay on pcb. Is there any overheat devices in the flow through heater? Its a bit worrying.

Only has the usual thermostat/TOC attached to element same as all other manufacturers

Well after all being fine for 3 wks after relay replaced heater is now on again. This one got me stumped.

Its only £13 for the board why bother fitting a relay to the old one, think i’d splash the cash and try a new board.

Customer replaced dishwasher. Now ive got another one with heater on. Any ideas what welds the heater relay contacts together? Am going to replace pcb.

Arcing? Cheap tat relays?
