hiya lads i got a hoover nextra hnf2137.
when i turn the dial to any program after about 5 seconds the door locked light will light up, but the door does not actually lock, then theprewash light will flash a few times followed by the stop light this is the same no matter what program i select.
amny thoughts this is the first nextra i have seen so are their any test programmes or diagnostic routines i could run, is it likely to be a board fault or is it something daft?
    thanks in advance 😀

The main boards on these often have dry joints, warm up that soldering iron! 😉

thanks martin i have checked the board and it looks fine, also a m8 gave me one he had from a scrap machine he assures me was scrapped for bearing fault, so the board should be fine but with that i get the same problem.
turn on and door lock light lights up but door does not lock, select program then start if i am lucky some water may enter the tub briefly then stop.
then start light and prewash light flash.
i have eliminated the pump, motor, valve, module and the door lock all i have left is the timer, which i dont have one to try but upon inspection seems fine, and the pressure switch which does have a wire running from the door lock to it so fingers crossed.
any more thoughts would be appreciated.
is the light flashing an error code do we know?
if i figure it out in the mean time i will let you all know:):)

Cheers martin as i said in my opriginal post start light and prewash flash at me once so check door lock wiring methinks.
