HNF71683D-80

Was asked to look at a Hoover HNF71683D-80, washing machine the starts to fill but then starts pumping and will do this all day long, cust says it came with a fault f2 before this started, which i gather is a time out filling fault, i think it may be a module or a pressure sw fault, can anbody help me with this one please cheers.

i had the same fault and cured it with a new pressure switch.

Hi Johnny: Not trying to teach my Granny to suck eggs, but have you cleaned the connections on the Module? had 1 doing the same a while back. Cleaned the connectors & away it went.

is that the one where the pressure pipe comes up and across the tub then to the pressure switch if so i have had a couple of those where the pipe had a small hole in where it had rubbed through obviously timed out on fill and because it thinks it flooding automatically sticks the drain pump on

cheers guys, it was late when i got there, cust also wanting a couple of drum padles so i might chance it with a new pressure sw see if that cures it 1st, you dont happen to know pressure sw part/no i cannot seem to find it JJ
