    This is prob. a daft question, but is it possible to fix a hob lid to a fitted hob, that didn’t have one in the first place?

    Probably not to be honest, even if you could the lid would cost quite a bit no doubt.

    A make and model of the existing hob may help though 😉

    The answer is a flat no. You need some form of “shut-off” to prevent accidental closure whilst the hob is still on.

    Alex is correct inline with legislation.
    Just askin, why do wanta lid ?
