    Hi I have a Baumatic gas hob (B60.1SS). Have had it less than a year. Today after cleaning it (exactly how normally do) the ignition is continually firing approx every 5 seconds unless I switich it off at the plug. What have I done? Can it be fixed?

    Water has got under the button and run into the ignitor box. Unplug and leave for a few days, it may well dry out.
