Today after cleaning it (exactly how normally do) the ignition is continually firing approx every 5 seconds unless I switich it off at the plug. What have I done? Can it be fixed? Thanks!! 👿 June 17, 2007 at 3:13 pm #217367 Penguin45Participant Re: Hob Ignition Water has got under the button and run into the ignitor box. Unplug and leave for a few days, it may well dry out.
