Hob surround for Diplomat hob ahy36

Hi,

The stainless steel hob surround on our Diplomat select oven AHY36 has become very scratched. I was wondering if a new surround could be fitted? If so, approx. how much would that cost?

Alternatively, is there a way to ‘fix’ or make it less obvious?

Hi Nada,

we’ll need the full model number to help you off the rating plate on the machine. It will be AHY36**, it’s the “**” bit we need. 😉

Hi Nada,

No, it’s a full hop top only as I suspected it would be at a whopping £166 excl VAT and shipping. It is also now available only in a brushed stainless finish.

Also it’s a total pain to change as the hob has to be removed and stripped to do it I’m afraid.

But if you want one we can get it for you. 😉

Thanks, but no thanks, I think it would be easier to just see what the landlord says. Maybe she won’t notice or she will be nice!! (i doubt it!)
