Participanti know… i know… asda crap lol…
:eeek:
i have already come to the conclusion there are no repair manuals, or even repairers for these machines…..
has they are rebranded by asda…. :clown:the problem i have is, when the drum is turning, even by hand, there is a banging noise……
now i know if the bearing had gone it would be more of a grating noise… but unsure about it banging…..
it is stood on level ground, the feet are set so no tilting…..
any ideas would be gratefully received 😆cheers

Check the front lower weights, they come loose then either crack the weight causing a banging noise, or snap the front retaining lug on the tub causing a banging noise.

Not so, if it was Unicorn Poo it would be more valuable than Painite, currently the most valuable mineral in the world but Painite does exist. Unicorns do not exist and it follows that neither does their poo.
If you do every find real Unicorn Poo then you will be a very rich man.
Your machine is cheap Chinese tat but it far from Unicorn Poo. 😉
The term Unicorn Poo should be used to describe something very rare, not of inferior quality. :rolls:

ok, the only way to see the bearing in its entirety it take the drum completely out of the machine….
did this and yes… the bearing has defo gone…..
the problem now is….
the bearing is molded in to the plastic case of the drum housing…. its not like a normal bearing where you tap it or push it out…..
its actually molded has part of the housing….
so…. thanks but no thanks asda… £299 for a piece of the above attachment….
just ordered a SWAN SW2051W 7KG 1200 SPIN washer from littlewoods catalogue for £229 with a 5 year warranty … not service … but warranty 😉
thanks for all the help people…. but will not buy none branded white goods from asda / argos ever again…. 😉February 10, 2015 at 8:30 pm #424587Martin
