If you’re lucky someone will have some technical info but it’s a long shot as that’s an Argos exclusive brand if memory serves me and we have no info on it.

Holme is a Asda brand and this one is made by Haier.
The machine is trying to tell you an error code.
If the start light is off and the machine buzzes it is advising the door isnt closed properly (within 20 seconds of the start of the program), so it fills for a few seconds then empties and gives the fault.
If the start light flashes, it will flash a sequence then stop for 4 seconds and then repeat the sequence.
So
2 flashes is Drain Error
3 flashes is Temperature Issue
4 flashes is heater problem
5 flashes is not filled to correct level within required time
Doesnt Do 6 flashes
7 flashes is Motor Overheat or Motor Protector Failure
and finally 8 flashes is Overfilling ErrorHTH
