i have just moved into a house with a gas homark hob and an electric oven.
The hob is fine but someone has painted all over the controls on the oven. I dont know what model it is but it has the temparature control on the left with a light next to it then the control for oven. grill at the right.

Could any one post a diagram of the controls as everthing i have made so far has burned!!!!

    thanks

Without a model we will struggle to be honest to give you the correct information.

Generally the thermostat will start at 50C at the lowest setting and rise to 200C or 220C on the highest.

If you set it half way and it still burns everything, the thermostat may actaully be faulty.

Check around the door for the model, it may also be on the roof of the oven which entails sliding it forward out of the housing.

    OK, it’s a Brandt then.

I’ll email you a PDF of a similar model which may act as a guidance.

    Hi,

Similar problem, I too am burning everything no matter how low the temperature seems to be. But I have no labels on the right hand dial?

Do you have a link to the pdf?

    Thanks,

    Allan
