Has anyone else noticed the price increase on Homespares spares?

For example:

Bosch pumps (Maxx range) now £16. I was paying £9.95 if bought in
threes.

Bosch door seals (Maxx range) now £8.95. I was paying £5.95 if bought in
threes.

Many other price increases but not so noticeable. (1600474 £3.74 instead of £3.35 etc, etc.

Contacted Homespare a month or so ago regarding this. There’s no quantity discounts at all, except on special offers. Had to phone my order through and they tried to match my previous prices, which they almost managed to do except I had to order £75 for free p&p. Worth a try though.

Yes, they seem to be up to the same tricks as Connect, such as pricing their pattern parts dearer than genuine. I ordered 2 individual CESET carbons, part No. 50266742001 as they worked out cheaper than a set of their own 4165. FHP Hotpoint carbons in holders are nearly twice the price at Homespare compared to Masterpart.

We phone all homespares orders through to our rep, he will then arrange quantity discounts and will not be beaten!

How are people getting on with the new site?

I have found it alot more time consuming to find the parts.

Also the everyday spares are still alot more than connect, which I never thought would happen.

I haven’t ordered from homespares for months now always connect, it has totally reversed.

At least you’ve got accounts with them. I’ve tried 2 or 3 times asking them to open and account and never get a reply 🙁 🙁 🙁
