Homespares has been wound up

I sometimes used Homespares for parts, but in the last couple of months, the website showed “new website under construction” page and a few days ago even that disappeared. A search on Companies House shows it has gone into liquidation, with a voluntary liquidator appointed on 1 April.

That’s a shame, we are left with fewer and fewer options to source parts.

TBH, I think they’ve been more or less in a state of stasis for the past year or more.

Making money on parts ain’t as easy as people often think.

Yeah, that was (from what I can find out) was the straw that did the camel in.

I was ordering less and less from them, their prices became less competitive. This indeed seemed to coincide with their fire.
