    Sadly if you have done something as daft as this then the only course now is to get the machine checked out by someone who knows what they are doing.
    You may have done untold damage to the machine, water in the electronics for a start.

    If you are very lucky it may have only damaged the pressure switch, changing it for a new one would be the cheapest option but, as they say, when you are in a hole, stop digging. 😉

    I guess you live and learn…the hard way in my case!

    I think I will take a punt and try replacing the pressure switch. But can you please confirm if the pressure switch could still be faulty even though it clicks on and off as I blow down the little tube?

    When you blow into it you may well hear it clicking but that doesn’t mean to say it hasn’t been damaged in some way.

    Not all of the switches within modern pressure switches are audible.
