    Now i’m old enough to know but can I fit the standard sd14 carbons to this machine as I have a pair instock instead of the sd22 lead type,Qualtex car25?

    Both motors are Hoover made. SD14 will fit either I would think as they are both the same size. The later SD22 type motor may need that vital tail connection though. Any idea of the model number?

    You have answered my question Martin,I obviously need to make sure I fit the ones with a tail connection,sorry don’t have the model number but thanks for the info.

    logic brushes are longer and have a smaller terminal than the earlier ones, both have tail connections
