Hoover 1200 Special edition 4 years old

Help I have a ? 4 year old Hoover 1200 Special edition washing machine, the old tenants have taken the instruction book.

The problem is the on/off switch, it will let you turn the power on but it won’t let you switch off, I can’t locate any serial numbers or other model numbers, has anyone any idea were I would find any numbers, so that I can order a new on/off switch, or does anyone know what switch I should order.

Any help would be great, I would rather fix the machine than try and take it down 5 flights of stairs to the bin !

Model and serial number should be on a semi circular label just above the door seal. Failing that, the serial number (starts with 3) will be on a label on the back.

Without it, we’ll struggle due to the huge number of Hoover models.
