    Re: Hoover

    Still waiting for advice please.
Dryer working as normal on last 10 minutes of cool drying cycle.
When putting it on a warm cycle the dryer works for a few seconds then stops & then starts buzzing.

    any ideas?

I should hope you replaced the motor capacitor at the same time? Often the reason motors burn out is no fault of their own but the capacitors failing. 😉

    Re: Hoover

A new motor with the capacitor attached was fitted.
Do you think the capacitor is faulty even tho the dryer works ok on the cooling cycle?

No, being as it works OK on cool we can ignore the motor and concentrate on the timer. And that does sound from what you say that it may well be wired incorrectly. 🙁

    Ok.Thats the motor sorted then.
I did have a suspicion that they wired it up wrong.
Is it possible to obtain a wiring diagram for this timer or would you know where the connections go?

    Thanks.
