During the past few days I have been running the machine through a 90 degree service wash (see my previous post).

Today I noticed the timer playing up. I am unable to turn the programmer to set the machine into rinse or spin. Two things happen, either the timer turns until it starts another program or the existing program continues regardless of the timer position.

Does this sound like a module or timer fault ?

Cheers, would that also be responsible for the following when starting a full wash program : The cold valve lets in water for a few seconds followed by the hot valve for another few seconds – combining a total of around 1 litre of water !

    Timer replaced and working……but……….!

The machine only pulls in around 6 litres of water during the wash cycle (excluding rinsing). Some of the washing is almost dry on the inside. Changed the pressure switch and its still the same.

The manual suggests 45 litres total usage for the setting we use; however, when we measured it, it came to 6 litres for the wash followed by three rinse’s at 9 litres each: a total of 33 litre’s.

Hmmm time to throw the thing in the skip and buy a new one me thinks….
