    Looking for help again,
Looking for the heater toc for this model. The one in machine is marked 130’C and has a blue spot.
Looking at spares sites are coming up with 85’C.
    Any comments will be welcome.
    Thank you in advance

Yes they did at the time they where having problems with the stat needing resetting all the time, there is probably 2 heaters listed as they went from the old style to new style heater and no stat toc is available even if you go off the full model number it will list 2 and the date code is no help either, what you can do though is take the toc that is around 120 degrees and fit it to the heater

    Thanks for replies.
The 85 degree toc listed by spares supplier matches the exhaust toc. Also have found a blue spot hotpoint at 130 degree.

the problem here is one of liability
if its your machine no problems but if you fit a safety stat to a customers machine and the machine goes on fire then you may be in trouble as its not an approved part
its not your fault the manufacturer does not fit a resettable stat or supply the part just price for a new heater

Now you can use a stat, toc off a hoover heater if the rating is the same, I hunted for a while to see if I could find the correct stat but as dave as said if it not the correct one buy manufacturer I wouldn’t fit it could lead to more trouble than it’s worth
