    Hoover 652 and 652A parts.

I have a customer who restores them and he asked if I could get anything for the 652. Bellows, belts and front wheels seem no problem but bag flanges, handle releases, suction fans (aluminium), rear wheels and top bearings are problematic.

In fact, what do you have stashed away? Even good secondhand is of interest….. he’s keen to collect what he can get. He’s willing to buy stock especially the parts mentioned above. Also any machines like 652’s, 1334 (metal body Junior) and 612.

The machines that he has restored are absolutely as new including the ’62 pink, a pastel blue, a grey and a pastel green (weren’t these colours around ’64 IIRC?). And an as new tortoiseshell / gold 612 with commercial bag…

Yeah, I know……. :rolls: But I can’t say anything – I’m building a ’67 Triumph Herald 12/50 from the ground up, then to get a ’50’s Ford 100E sidevalve next – so I’m equally sad.

C’mon guys, what have you got lying around?

    Cheers,

    Steve.

skipped all of that stuff a few years ago… about the time I skipped all my Triumph Herald spares. Had everything…. trunions, diff, modded rear transvers spring, restored wooden door cappings….. just lost interest and at the time worthless…. now no doubt priceless!

Have a couple of manuals if your interested?
