Hoover AAA160 interract

Select programme on this and it selects wash parameters as normal, starts the wash sequence on the screen and counts through but does nowt.
Checked everything , brushes down to stubs so thought ‘home soon’.
Changed them and it’s exactly the same.

I’m thinking board cos it seems weird counting through the programme doing nowt and not giving an error condition.

Graded machine I sold them 21/2 years ago so ”I predict a write off”’ as the Cheefs would say 😥

I had no error code on this model when the brushes had worn. machine counted through cycle as normal. It still could be the motor or the motor harness. I’ve had a few wires break near the ty-wrap just above motor. also check connections on the motor itself, sometimes one of the terminals disengages on the motor block.

Very likely the “TR1” triac has blown on the board (motor supply triac). Have a shufty on the board (there are at least 7 triacs – clearly marked 1 to 7 ) I’m sure it will have ‘cooked’. 🙁

😳 Don’t nkow if I made it clear enough from previous post.
When the programme starts to count down the machine doesn’t fill or anything. Would a motor triac cause this as well?

Have you checked the insulation of the heater ? Try taking wires off valves ? Other than that it must been the main board.

Board tried still faulty.
Changed the selector motor and lo and behold twas cured.:con:
