Hoover AAA160 no water fill

I’ve got a 4 yr old hoover aaa160, 1600 rpm, “Six. inter@ct “. Has been running well except for load door not always recognised as being closed, but a firm push after the programmation and it goes OK.

The machine stopped mid-cycle (I think because of a bra strap which had become wedged in the rubber door seal! 😳 ) and briefly saw an ERROR code 2. I cancelled the programme and now when trying to restart a normal load, nothing happens after the programmation is set (e.g. no water fill).

I have tried running just a spin and it is fine. Any other programmation with water is not reacting.

Can anybody help? thanks in advance. 😆

when you say it spins ok does the pump go at spin, if not if the pump is open circuit it will not fill with water if you are checking it take the plug out

YES, the pump does activate when the spin cycle begins …
