Are both sets of contacts on this machines, stats ‘NO’.
It overheats on Prog 9 (40 degree wash) but works fine on Prog 3 (60 wash)
If I turn the timer to prog 4 (40 wash) after it has overheated it advances normally.
When the water temp is high, both sets of stat contacts are closed. When I cool them down, the outer contacts are ‘OC’ but the centre ones remain closed.
Suspect control unit, any better ideas?

Nope, the wiring diagram indicates one NO and the NC.

Described as 30/90 thermostat so you’d have to assume 90 is NC.

That would suggest the 40/60 temps are achieved with timed heat which suggests my suspicions about the control unit could well be correct, unless there is another stat at the front of the drum?

Just the one combined thermostat as far as I can tell, I’ll email the diagram in a bit 😀

No, did check those. Have asked customer to try on a 40 degree wash on the long spin cycle and it has gone through OK.

Many thanks for the PDF… Dave.
