    My machine will not finish a cycle, except if I put it on No2, then it stops half way and I have to turn the dial slightly for it to progress (usually does this about twice during cycle). If I use any other number then it either just doesnt even start, or just fills with water and then stops.

    It is getting frustrating now. I have been managing on No 2 but so many clothes seem to be getting ruined now as it is too hot a setting.

    Help!!!!

    No. 2 is hot fill – after the wash, the rinses are all cold fill only. Either the cold water is turned off, or you’ve got a duff inlet valve. Will it do the conditioner rinse?

    Power off if you’re going to investigate.
