went to this one today to clear the detergent tube. did so but now the w/m won’t do anything except drain. which ever program is chosen the drain pump runs. if you rotate prog sel it makes no difference..just drain pump…suggestions please

Take a close look at the Coreboard for blown Triacs 😉

martin, is the coreboard the one at the top righthand side behind prog selector?

Had the same problem with an old Zanussi once,turned out to be a short circuit inlet water valve,worth a check.

Could be pressure switch stuck in safety mode. Check wiring to switch as well, maybe you disturbed the wiring whilst cleaning the detergent tube.

checked pressure switch..ok…blew through pressure pipe towards drum…ok…checked the programme selector and noticed that even when the selector was on a STOP position it still ran… sorry for this but now i can’t see the wood for the trees…

For the sake of a tenner, I’d swop the timer/selector unit – all sorts of weird things are caused by them. 91201337.
