Any help would be appreciated on this.I went out to a Hoover ae130 the other day I suspected a broken shaft, stupidly i agreed to do it.Ordered parts before i stripped it down as the shaft was a special order and i wanted it before christmas.Anyway get it all stripped down back at the workshop (garage) and the shaft had cracked the problem is how do you get the shaft off it is fitted with what can be best described as large rivets. The new shaft has arrived and has no fitting kit with it.So really just need to know the normal procedure to fit a new shaft on this pile of poo :rolls: cheers.

Anglegrinder followed by 12mm nuts, (17mm head) bolts and washers last time it happened to me.
