Hoover AL 120

Hi all, I have got to change the motorised timer in my wicked evil step-mother-in-laws Hoover AL 120 washing machine. Can anyone tell me how?
I have had the top off, but cant see how to get the timer off. Do I need to take the front off, and if so how?

you need to get the knob off

if u look closeley, theres 3 locating lugs around the rear edge of the knob, u can see them from the inside of the machine if you look forward

push them with a small screwdriver and the knob will come off

the rest is pretty simple tbh
