Hoover AL 130 SIX SPORTSWEAR 1300 (37615952)

Going to this one tommorrow

Customer says No Display,Washing machine would not work after lightening the previous night.

Is it possible the Power board may have been damaged bythis?

Haven’t done any work on one of these before any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Mike,
the only problem i have seen with this appliance is corruption of the processor , the display then just lights up every didgit, remove the top and on the display panel if you are lucky you wil see a reset switch if you are not its just two shorting links to reset the prosessor , failing that its the pcb.

Bit of a stab in the dark but I have replaced a few mains filter suppressors on this and similar models . 💡
Good place to start anyway.

Just for info as well was repairing tricity bendix dishwasher in garage and hoover had been out the day before and replaced a drain pump with melted windings and main board on AL130 (parts left in garage). May or may not be connected to your fault.
