I’m not sure to be honest, it would be evident when only one was though wouldn’t it ?

    Re: Hoover AL150

Thats what I would have thought, went to one of these this morning and as is often the case it performed perfectly on all tests whilst I stood over it.
The door lock neon is tiny, so I just wondered if one of the option buttons which incorporate larger neons was used ?

Inital complaint was of control knob revolving in a similar way to the Indesit control unit when a fault has occured, but I could not reproduce it.

Revolving control knob (intermittent) is usually a slave timer fault – not the board. If the fault happens absolutely every time, then it would then be a board fault. Hoover engineers are changing quite a few of these slave timers right now. Tony@EMW

Didn’t want to start another thread so will stick it here.

Another AL150 problem. Symptoms, machine completely dead,

Have live feed to door lock but no neutral return, tried new lock just in case but no joy.

On/Off switch & pressure switch fine. Neutral link from door lock to bottom of module is ok and I have a neutral feed from top of module.

Have sent module to EMW for test.

    Anyone else seen this fault.

    Yup Today,

    Similar Hoover board, same fault.

There is a dry joint on the grey block (relay?) on this one. Tried resoldering but the leg is way too short, so away to be repaired as we speak!!
