Participanti had a problem a while ago when a lace got stuck in the pump and the washer wouldnt empty.after managing to empty out the water and remove the lace in there the washer started to leak as soon as i started it.
i checked everything had been put back where i had to undo jubilee clips but still get the leak as soon as i try and start a wash.
any ideas or suggestions please?

Proper model number might help. 😉
There several places the machine could be leaking from, not really possible for us to try and guess, it is a matter of looking carefully. 🙂

Thanks for the reply, model number on the back of washer says AC288.Had it a good few years now, bought second hand, this is the first major problem i have had from it since getting it.
guess i will have to turn it on and try and see where the leak is coming from.is it safe to turn it on with the back panel removed to see inside?September 24, 2011 at 12:40 pm #359798iadom

I cannot advise you to try and run the machine with the panels removed.
Does the machine just leak or does it flood out as fast as it is going in, does it leak at once or after the machine has been runnning a while?

thanks for the link, can you reccomend a reliable repair service for my washer in the greater manchester area?
the link i gave seemed reasonably priced plus it comes with a 12 month gaurantee.
if someone knows of good one out of all those on the search function i would appreciate it.(bit of a minefield for me to choose one for the repair!)September 26, 2011 at 2:32 pm #359802iadom

Send me a PM with your post code and I will have a look. Do any of the ones that come up for your postcode have the large star on the map, if so they would be the ones to go for as they are either WTA or DASA members. 😉
