    Fitted a set of Car92’s to this motor.
    excessive sparking and it has been running for 10 minutes. Shaft is too hot to touch after 3 mins. I do not know if this is normal. Do i need to run it longer or is the armature fried. Not too experienced in Vac motors.

    Shorted turns no doubt. A new motor might not be too expensive though.
