Hi does anyone know if the programming unit for the GIAS ‘coreboard’ is generally available and how much? The part number is 49000728 but i have checked various suppliers with no sucess.
The reason i ask is because i have lately had two new boards for a certain model neither of which worked when fitted. The part number of these boards was for the programmed version but i suspect that they were not programmed. A different part number was given by GIAS which turned out to be exactly the same board!
I wondered if GIAS are moving toward supplying only the un-programmed boards, which means that the programming unit and the CDROM containing the data for the model is needed should a module need replacing.
can anyone shed further light on this? Thanks
