Hoover DH835 dishwasher

Door spring for this model has broken. Is this easy to replace – how? and are the parts available?

You’ll need to look closer to check it is actually the springs that are broken as the door is not just balanced by springs, please ensure the power is off when checking :zap:

I can get whatever is required spares-wise, if you’re unsure on how to tackle the job, please check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

Thanks for the reply
Have had a closer look at the machine by separating the chrome inner plate from the white plastic outer cover. Seems very difficult to get a proper look down where the spring attaches to the door hinge, but I can see at one side the end of a spring is hanging loose. Does not look broken, but I can’t get a hand in or see where to hook it back onto. Perhaps I need to haul the machine out and approach this from the underside?? 🙁
What else can I tell you/do to decide what needs done?

Thanks again for reply, but not sure what you mean. Is is possible to get access to the door spring from the sides of the machine?
