Any help would be appreciated.
Have a freestanding Hoover dishwasher that drains, fills, goes into the wash cycle and then within seconds, the programme light flashes, it beeps and goes straight to drain.
Have tested the element and all is ok, but have no continuity through the safety switch leading to the element. Wondering if this safety switch is at fault and if it would cause the problem.

You can get a no heat due to that switch. Its a pressure switch which activates on the correct circulation pressure.
