Hoover dishwasher HFi3012 – Overfilling but mostly ERROR after few minutes

Oddly it overfills on setting 3 to above the lower spray arm but still operates until it leaks through the door

Then on any other setting it empties, fills, empties, fills…. but stop after a few minutes and the light flashes continuously, no obvious sequence and no circlation at all

I have checked the pressure switch, cut a litlle of the its tube at the sump end, tightened the air break nut…. but it still does the same thing

As it doesn’t seem to flash up an error and on setting 3 it overfills….. I am confused = any ideas please?
