Hoover Dishwasher not filling with water

Hi,
If anyone has had a similar problem and managed to fix it – we have a Hoover AXI 13 pit – A+ dishwasher, about 5-6 years old. Water not coming in. Have checked the mains water (no issues) have done a hard reset, no joy. It worked briefly when we took most of the parts out, then stopped again. Could it be the waste pipe is blocked? Or any other obvious troubleshooting I haven’t thought of? Thanks.

I just wiped the mesh at the water inlet, (it wasnt dirty or had build up) and would you believe it has started and water has rushed in as normal and it seems to be working. No error beeps

i dont want to jinx it, but this is what was happeing – It starts as normal, we can hear the water start up and I assume try to rush in, then after 10/15 seconds it stops and we get error beeps.

So that cycle lasted about 25 minutes before stopping with continuous error beeps. Water definitely came in and was swishing about but it did not heat and the dishwasher capsule holder did not open.

could even be broken wire, quite often at the bottom of the door
