hoover dryer e21

hi, a fairly new dryer DX C8TG-80 keeps coming up e21 no heat it has a resetable thermostat which keeps cutting out,
I changed the heater assembly but no joy, no blockages runs fine but keeps getting e21 any thoughts?

have you checked the board relay

may be turning heater on when drum not turning

What heater have you changed it for does it have a selectable stat if so it’s the wrong heater as the had trouble with thus and changed the rating of that stat on new heater to 200 degree’s

assume the same fault was there before you changed the heater to its probably correct but

cant find your model no. closest i can get is 31101052 DX C8TRGR-80

if yes then correct heater is part no 40005010

thats the heater i fitted so must be pcb

I would check heater relays

had a few go down over the years

You have fitted the wrong heater as the part number I get is 40005010 and it doesn’t have a re settable stat on heater
