    Morning all,

    Been to see a Hoover DYN 8164D-80 yesterday. When spinning the machine seems to never end. It hits it’s 1600 spin and just continues. Although the display shows the cycle as taking 7 mins I decided to turn off the machine after 20 mins!

    I’ve checked the PCB but can’t see signs of damage, I’m under the impression it’ll be this component but would appreciate your comments.

    Morning again guys,

    I’m really struggling with this, I’ve tried a new module with no luck. Am I chasing my tail by overlooking things? Any help really would be appreciated.

    disconnect the heater and try again. notorious for causing faults I’ve had one at 62 megs causing problems.
