I’m thinking it may have something to do with the rotary selector switch? Hoover selector switches are prone to this type of problem based on their poor build quality and dodgy spaghetti electronics. It is an Italian made after all, so try swearing at it in Italian.

Thank you Martin 🙂 Is that the part I need in this Picture ?
http://www.appliance-reviews.co.uk/ProductImages/large/DYN10146P_WH_WashingMachine_CP1_AR_L.jpg, the lights around this dial keep going around & around with no error being displayed, as you can tell not to clever when it comes to washing machine parts lol, if this is the part whats the chances of me changing it ( Easy!,Hard!).

    Thanks again

It is indeed and I have since realised that that is NOT the part that has likely failed but the module (41031044) behind it that may have? I say may as it could be a connection issue between that module and the coreboard or that module or the main board? Only careful further investigation would establish which. I should hate you to guess and just ‘throw parts at it’ in order you eventually get it working but you could either do that or get an expert in to do it for you. I’ll let you be the judge. 😀

tbh it may well be worth checking that every button is working first.. you may find one of them is sticking
