HOOVER WASHING MACHINE – HOOVER DYN7164D

Have been trying to get a refund rather than repair to my washing machine as i dont like these as there seem to be a lot of unhappy people with these machines, but not yet found one to back up my problem which is WASH BUTTON STUCK IN.

I put a wash on with my hoover machine which i bought in March and the wash button is now FAULTY it has gone in, the wash is on

These buttons are very flimsy

Has ANYONE GOT A PROBLEM WITH THIS MACHINE can be any problem to show it in a bad light?

or a problem with BUTTONS ON THIS MACHINE?

Michele I hate to tell you this but wash buttons only “get stuck in” when too much force is applied. It only requires a gentle push to activate and often people don’t know their own strength and push too hard resulting in the control panel breaking. You broke it, you pay for it I’m sorry to say. 🙁

Lost count of the number of these I’ve had to refit. Agree with Martin on this that the buttons are being pressed too hard. Not much of a job to refit unless you broken the plastic clips

The first time I used it, the wash time button got stuck in! I did not apply a lot of force, it just pressed in and didn’t come back out, so I pressed it again hoping it would make it spring back out, but it just went in further and looks broken. The control panel buttons are extremely flimsy. I hope it can be fixed but I won’t ever get another Hoover.
