hoover dyn8146d-80 e08

hi, im assuming this is a motor/tacho related error code the motor checks out ok it spins fine but on a wash it fills then the drum turns a couple of times then nothing! the timer carries on counting down but theres no drum action.
has anyone else had this problem???

ive tried another motor on it and still the same problem, there is the main pcb (top right)and a rectifier pcb(bottom right) any ideas if the rectifier one could cause this problem?
